Oaky, so it is very obvious that Mr. Clark is easily annoyed by trash of any kind. He even tests his students by leaving bits of trash in his class to see who might pick it up and dispose of it properly. He even rewards them with ice cream to make his point. Again, it brings pride to the children who clean up behind themselves and perhaps gives them life lessons that will always be with them.
Making habits of cleaning up behind yourself after eating is always a good idea. It's really easy as a mother to just allow your children to leave the table after eating, but in hindsight, I think having them learn to dispose of any uneaten food and placing their dishes in the sink, oh, and throwing away any disposable items from the meal, is generally a great habit for them to have throughout their lives.
