#32 Bus Etiquette

My mother drove a school bus for a time.  I think etiquette for riding public transportation is a great topic of conversation.  Evidently this teacher drives students on a bus from time to time.  He discusses by comparison to other modes of transportation and the dangers of distracted driving, and the difficulties of having a bus full of children.  His rule is to sit facing forward, no standing, talking in whispers, no turning around, no throwing things out of the bus windows.

Good information, and again communicating dangers of misbehavior and consequences are appropriate for school children.   However, we don't want them terrified to ride the bus either.
